CHAPTER IV. BEVERAGESCHAPTER IV. BEVERAGES\ARTICLE 5. GENERAL PENALTIES

(a)   Violation of any of the provisions of Section 4-201 as it pertains to cereal malt beverages, or of Section 4-212(a), or of Section 4-303(k), or of Section 4-304(g) as it pertains to cereal malt beverages, shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $500, or by imprisonment not to exceed one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Such penalties shall be in addition to and not in substitution of any other prescribed consequences of such violation, such as suspension or revocation of a license or permit issued under this chapter, or the rendering of a person as being ineligible for a license or permit under this chapter.

(b)   Violation of any provision of this chapter as to which there is not otherwise a prescribed penalty shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $500, or by imprisonment not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Such penalties shall be in addition to and not in substitution of any other prescribed consequences of such violation, such as suspension or revocation of a license or permit issued under this chapter, or the rendering of a person as being ineligible for a license or permit under this chapter.
