There are hereby established four wards in the city designated and numbered and divided into voting precincts as hereinafter stated.

All that part of the city lying east of Main Street and north of east Fifth Street extended east to the city limits, shall constitute the First Ward.

The first ward in the city is hereby divided into election precincts as follows:
(a) First Precinct. All that part of the city lying east of the centerline of Main Street between the centerline of east Seventh Street extended and the centerline of east Fifth Street extended; and all that part of the city lying east of the centerline of Henry Street between the centerline of east Twelfth Street and the centerline of east Seventh Street extended.
(b) Second Precinct. Commencing at the intersection of Main Street and Seventh Street; thence east along the centerline of east Seventh Street to the centerline of Henry Street; thence north along the centerline of Henry Street to the centerline of east Tenth Street extended; thence west along the centerline of east Tenth Street extended to the centerline of Oak Street; thence south along the centerline of Oak Street to the centerline of east Ninth Street; thence west along the centerline of east Ninth Street to the centerline of Main Street; thence south along the centerline of Main Street to the point of beginning.
(c) Third Precinct. All that part of the city lying east of the centerline of Main Street and north of the following-described line: Commencing at the intersection of Main and Ninth Streets; thence east along the centerline of Ninth Street to the centerline of Oak Street; thence north along the centerline of Oak Street to the centerline of east Tenth Street; thence east along the centerline of east Tenth Street extended to the centerline of Henry Street; thence north along the centerline of Henry Street to the centerline of Twelfth Street; thence east along the centerline of Twelfth Street to the centerline of Spencer Street.
All that part of the city lying west of Main Street and Old Main Street and south of west Sixth Street, except that portion lying west of Boyd Avenue between west Fifth Street and west Sixth Street and lying west of Columbus Avenue between west First Street and west Fifth Street shall constitute the second ward.

Commencing at the intersection of Main and First Streets; thence north along the centerline of Main Street to the centerline of Sixth Street; thence west along the centerline of Sixth Street to the centerline of Boyd Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Boyd Avenue to the centerline of west Fifth Street; thence west along the centerline of west Fifth Street to the centerline of Columbus Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Columbus Avenue to the centerline of west First Street; thence east along the centerline of west First Street to the point of beginning.
(b) Second Precinct. All that part of the city lying west of the centerline of Old Main Street and south of the centerline of west First Street.

All that part of the city lying east of Main Street and Old Main street and south of east Fifth Street extended shall constitute the third ward.

The third ward of the city is hereby divided into election precincts as follows:
(a) First Precinct. All that part of the city lying east of the centerline of Main Street and between the centerline of east Fifth Street extended and the center of east First Street.
(b) Second Precinct. Commencing at the intersection of east First Street and Old Main Street; thence south along the centerline of Old Main street to the centerline of southeast Fifth Street; thence east along the centerline of southeast Fifth Street extended to the centerline of the Missouri Pacific Railway right-of-way; thence southeasterly along the centerline to the centerline of Spencer Street; thence north along the city limit line to the centerline of east First Street; thence west along the centerline of east First Street to place of beginning; also that part of the city lying east of the centerline of Spencer Street between the centerline of east First Street and the centerline of the Missouri Pacific Railway right-of-way.
(c) Third Precinct. All that part of the city lying east of the centerline of Old Main Street extended and south of a line described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of Old Main and southeast Fifth Streets; thence east along the centerline of southeast Fifth Street extended to the centerline of Missouri Pacific Railway right-of-way; thence southeasterly along the centerline to the east line of the city limits.

All that part of the city lying west of Main Street and north of west Sixth Street; also that part lying west of Boyd Avenue between west Sixth Street and west Fifth Street; also that part lying west of Columbus Avenue between west Fifth Street and west First Street shall constitute the fourth ward.

The fourth ward of the city shall be, and is hereby divided into election precincts as follows:
(a) First Precinct. Commencing at the intersection of Main and Sixth Streets; thence north along the centerline of Main Street to the centerline of Ninth Street; thence west along the centerline of Ninth Street to the centerline of Grandview Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Grandview Avenue to the south line of Grandview Heights Addition; thence west along the south line extended to the centerline of Boyd Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Boyd Avenue to the centerline of west Sixth Street; thence west along the centerline of west Sixth Street to the point of beginning.
(b) Second Precinct. All of that part of the city west of the centerline of Main Street and north of a line described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of Main and Twelfth Streets; thence west along the centerline of west Twelfth Street to the city limits.
(c) Third Precinct. Commencing at the intersection of west First Street and Columbus Avenue; thence north along the center of Columbus Avenue to the centerline of west Fifth Street; thence east along the centerline of west Fifth Street to the centerline of Boyd Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Boyd Avenue to the south line of Grandview Heights Addition extended; thence east along the extended line to the centerline of Grandview Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Grandview Avenue to west Twelfth Street; thence west along the centerline of west Twelfth Street to the centerline of Meridian Road; thence south along the centerline of Meridian Road to the centerline of west Firth Street; thence east along the centerline of west First Street to the point of beginning; also that part of the city lying west of the centerline of Meridian Road between the centerline of west First Street and the centerline of west Twelfth Street.
(d) Fourth Precinct. Commencing at the intersection of Main and Ninth Street; thence north along the centerline of Main Street to centerline of Twelfth Street; thence west along centerline of Twelfth Street to centerline of Grandview Avenue; south along centerline of Grandview Avenue to centerline of Ninth Street; thence east along centerline of Ninth Street to centerline of Main Street.
